Our awareness team is available around the clock – at the Awareness Point in the Talking Trees, via Messenger, or by phone at 0162 8699 647. Together, we are committed to ensuring that the DEICHBRAND Festival remains a place where everyone feels safe, comfortable, and respected – regardless of gender, sexual orientation, skin color, origin, religion, age, or physical and mental abilities. Discrimination and abusive behavior have no place here: no sexism, racism, anti-Semitism, queer or transphobia, ableism, or ageism.
For us, awareness means not only reacting, but also preventing – through education, presence, and support. Get in touch at any time if you feel unsafe or observe something – we are here for you. At the Awareness Point, you will find safe spaces, e.g., after incidents or for neurodivergent people such as those on the autism spectrum or with ADHD. Our team is on the festival grounds and can be recognized by their pink vests – feel free to talk to us. Crew members with pink awareness wristbands will also help you – just ask, “Where's Panama?”
Awareness workshops will once again be held in the Green Circus, where you can learn how to recognize discrimination, support those affected, and be more mindful during the festival. You can find the workshop times in the timetable. Together, we can take responsibility for treating each other with respect!
