Shoreline are among the most exciting voices on the current punk and hardcore scene. Between melancholic emo, anthemic pop punk, and the raw hardcore roots of the 2010s, they create their own soundscape full of power and emotion. With their latest album, “To Figure Out,” and a deal with US label Pure Noise Records, the band from Münster shows that they have long since arrived on the international scene. Sometimes vulnerable and gentle, sometimes explosive and uncompromising, frontman Hansol Seung effortlessly switches between intimacy and hardcore shouts, giving Shoreline their unmistakable sound. Their lyrics are openly political and address issues such as identity, racism, and animal rights directly – without pointing fingers, but with genuine conviction.
