FrauPaul is a punk rock trio from Hamburg that has been causing a stir since 2021 with their direct attitude, powerful sound, and socially relevant lyrics. Lisa Paul, Mary Vonk, and Linda Sidaro combine broad guitars, strong rhythms, and clear messages to create a unique German-language sound that falls somewhere between punk and indie. Their energetic shows, where anything is possible between fragility and explosion, are no longer an insider tip. With two acclaimed EPs and singles such as “Streichholz,” “Leben,” and “Burn Out,” they have gained a steadily growing fan base over 100 live shows. Their debut album Hol mir die Sterne zurück was released in early 2025, created with the help of a successful crowdfunding campaign – loud, unvarnished, and with plenty of attitude.
