Six songwriters, one circle, and a whole lot of madness: for over 20 years, the Monsters of Liedermaching have been an exceptional phenomenon combining poetry, punk, and punchlines. With acoustic guitars, humor, and emotion, Fred Timm, Rüdiger Bierhorst, Totte, Labörnski, Pensen, and Burger rock clubs and festivals – without drums or bass, but with ballads about bladder weakness and heartbreaking songs about crying frogs. Their live shows are legendary, unvarnished and direct – as evidenced not only by albums such as Schnaps & Kekse and Federwisch im Elfental, but also by their ever-loyal audience.
