This band is in a league of its own and has opened a new chapter with all its might with its latest album. "Nothing" is a nearly 50-minute experience. The album gains numerous new facets from the band's dense sound, which wanders fluidly between all varieties of hardcore and post-rock. The valleys are deeper than ever, in the heights there is hardly any air to breathe. The atmosphere feels almost tangible. Lyrically, FJØRT always gave themselves cryptic and remain true to this line, but also become concrete on "nothing" as rarely before. More varied and simply greater this band has never sounded.
