Probably the oldest motif in CONNY's texts is longing. The longing for distant countries, new adventures and great love, which lasts longer than the first kiss. CONNY combines all of this in his personal lyrics and conveys them with his voice, which always has a certain sadness in it. As a declared feminist, he also addresses gender roles, masculinity, criticism of capitalism and lets his listeners share his feelings.
