The Hirsch Effekt are back on the European stages with a new album in their luggage. "Kollaps", the band's fifth album, confronts everyday madness with clever counterpoints and hilarious lyrics. After the band landed at number 21 in the German album charts with "Eskapist" in 2017, the follow-up work is now available. Musically, the trio from Hanover still walks somewhere in the micro-cosmos of "progressive metal", while the recordings are peppered with the band's typical excursions into - at first glance - completely absurd styles. It is chopped up in Hirsch manner what moves for a while in the safe beat. In between chorals sound, which let find back to the necessary contemplation.
