Engst

Engst

The band ENGST returns with their second album "Schöne neue Welt" after two sold out headliner tours and numerous festival shows. In contrast to the time pressure of their debut album "Flächenbrand", the band took enough time this time to let their feelings of rage, doubt, but also deep friendship and connection flow into the music. ENGST have a clear edge and criticize social ills. At the same time they emphasize the importance of friendship, cohesion and love. The band consists of close friends gathered around frontman Matthias Engst and are known as authentic children of Berlin. Matthias Engst still lives in the problem district of Berlin where he grew up, and his experiences from his youth, the roughness of the neighborhood and the love for his home shape the songs of ENGST. The band is critical of society, but does not lose sight of respect for their origins. After more than 70 shows last year, they are motivated and ready to jump into the fray again and make the world a bit more beautiful.
