The name Drei Meter Feldweg (Three Metres of Field Path) may suggest rugged village punk, but the five guys have long since moved on from these beginnings. Although they come from the middle of the Lüneburg Heath, their music sounds more like Düsseldorf or Berlin. Their sound stands for modern, energetic and multi-faceted punk rock, carried by catchy melodies and rousing choruses that get the audience dancing from the very first second. With their songs, Drei Meter Feldweg manage to spread a cheerful party atmosphere as well as strike a more serious note and address topics such as the ever-increasing shift to the right in Germany, an emerging two-class society and ordinary everyday worries. These are dealt with in a pleasantly uncomplicated and direct manner, often with a wink or in an exaggerated manner.
